SALES ENGINEER Reports To: Sales Manager/Head
Job Overview : Sales engineers are in the business of selling advanced scientific and technical products to businesses and organizations. As a sales engineer, you have training in both engineering (or an industry-related science field) and sales. Specific to our case it includes technical and marketing/selling skills. The successful candidate will take over the initiative of providing the best technical and commercial solution of product and/or system in the form of B2B sales. Products include HVAC products such as; Chillers, Heat Pumps and Data Center Products for Comfort, Process and Data Center cooling/heating applications.
We require someone with basic qualifications & skills:
Willingness and ability to travel 10% to 70% of the time, depending on the position and sales role.
BE/Diploma Degree in Mechanical or Electrical.
MS office
Recommended experience in HVAC industry but not mandatory.
Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in ground breaking new ways.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
Computer proficiency and the ability to accurately enter data and generate reports.
Responsibilities & Duties
Business development; generate inquiries from Real estate, pharma, IT, Hospitality, Hospitals, etc. Sectors
Business development: frequent visits to industry influencers(consultants, PMC’s and contractors) and
customers
Pre order Site Visits to better understand the application, value engineering or BOQ formation.
Enter inquiries in CRM in the form of SQL(sales qualified leads)
Understand the BOQ/Specs and select the most suited product option. Make submittals through ERP with technical and commercial knowledge. Follow up and take feedback on our submittals till project is won/lost
Periodic update in CRM on status of each project, including job closure.
Analysis of PO’s and send Order Acknowledgement (OA) to customers.
Discuss with the factory on deliveries and revert to customers.
Finalization of vendors for any low side(projects work).
Timely follow up for payment collections for product & project execution.
Making Monthly reports of Booking, billing and performance.
PROJECTS ENGINEER Reports To : Sales Manager/Head
Job Overview : The job requires a professional project engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. This will involve ability to ensure the quality of installation matches the product requirement.
We require someone with basic qualifications & skills:
BE/Diploma degree in Engineering or relevant field
Current engineer license
Advanced MS Office skills
Proven working experience as a project engineer
Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Project management and supervision skills
Decision making ability and leadership skills
Time management and organization skills
Responsibilities & Duties
Periodic check for site readiness and give clearance to factory/sales for dispatch.
Check the site for any value engineering in BOQ to save cost or excess requirement in BOQ. Escalate any anomaly to the customer and Sales team.
Inspection arrival of product from factory and feedback for the same in the form of report.
Send detailed WO and PO to vendor(low side, materials and crane)
Submit bar charts of material and execution schedules to customers.
Submit plant drawings
Submit Technical specs of project execution details
Prepare logistic plan when required
Timely follow up and collection of E&C payment and escalate to Sales when support is needed. Take action whether to start or stop activities at site based on collections.
Chiller/PAC plant pre commissioning check list circulation to customer or low side vendor Project handover to commissioning with reports
Project final handover to service
